What is Quantum Computing, It will bring change in India and world; Here’s how

In recent times, Quantum computing is making headlines. Big internet giants like Google and other companies are working on it.

What is Quantum Computing?

Quantum computing is a field of computer science that solves complex problems much faster than classical computers.

According to reports, classical computers use bits, which can be either 1 or 0. In contrast, quantum computers use qubits, which can represent both 1 and 0 simultaneously. This phenomenon is called superposition, and it is one of the most advanced features of quantum computing to date.

Normal computers work on binary systems. Suppose that you want to send a file from the computer to pendrive. We click on the copy and send button. Normal computers can understand the direct instruction but the computer converts this instruction into binary and then completes the process.

Quantum computers use qubits, which can represent both 1 and 0 simultaneously. A unique property of qubits is entanglement, where one qubit can affect another, regardless of the distance between them. These properties allow quantum computers to solve multiple problems simultaneously.”

Quantum computing can be used in solving complex problems like discovery of new medicines, weather forecast, cyber security and analysis of big data. It is considered as future technology.

Quantum computer is in its initial phase and its operation is challenging because qubits are very sensitive. Scientists are of the view that Quantum computers will bring big changes across the globe.

Google, the internet giant, claims that its new chips are capable of reducing errors. After extensive research, Google found that increasing the number of qubits helps minimize the chances of errors.

Google says that Quantum computing will open new avenues in healthcare, energy and other secr=tors through research.
